What are the odds that he’s running summer tires in winter temps?

100% chance they’re not winter tires. This is Georgia, no one buys winter tires around here.

When I put my winter tires on my similarly blue E92, I went to the gas station near my house to air them up, and discovered the batteries in my digital tire pressure gauge had died.
Before I could be sad, I was delighted to find that the gas station had installed a new automatic tire air pump that lets you set a PSI then automatically shuts off and beeps at you when it’s hit your desired pressure. I didn’t even need my digital tire pressure gauge.
Maybe I should get some fresh batteries for it in case I need some air when I’m away from home.

I’ve got a detachable digital gauge on my cheap Craftsman compressor:
The batteries there have been dead forever, but it works when connected to the cigarette lighter, so I just never use it detached. Probably should replace them, but who wants to deal with button cells

Funny thing is Raphael’s first comment.
“the other thing that this guy’s excuse implies that I like very much is the idea that cars instantly transform into completely insane oversteer destruction mobiles the moment you press the traction control button off.”
I recall he oversteered into a pole after turning the traction control off, no?
